Not too long ago, I learned how to crochet.  I learned from a book because that’s how things be learned.  Yes, I practiced while I was looking at this book, I’m not as cool as I like to make myself sound.

After a few years of successfully not screwing up, I decided to face my fears and pick up knitting.  After which I learned 2 things:

1. There was a reason why I never wanted to pick up knitting originally.
2. That reason was knitting itself.

Don’t get me wrong. Knitting is nice.  The patterns come out really pretty, and the stitches make me jealous.  But it takes FOREVER to knit something, unlike crocheting where I can make a scarf in a few hours whereas knitting would take me DAYS.  It ends up being a realy pretty scarf.  BUT DID IT HAVE TO TAKE THIS LONG?!?! YES IT DID BECAUSE IT’S KNITTING!!

These are my personal feelings about the matter.  I am perfectly aware that plenty of people prefer knitting over crocheting and love doing it all the time.  Your opinions are wrong, but you are allowed to have them.

So, with all that said and done.  I really like my infinity scarf.  I can’t wear it because it is now really hot outside, but it looks really good on my mannequin.
